Design developed by Rolls Royce in partnership with Royal London Hospital's Dr. Ian Renfrew, currently used in over 50 hospitals in the UK
Reduces risk of exposure of providers to aerosolized virus during intubation and extubation (insertion and removal of a breathing tube)
Final prototype completed, currently being tested in the clinical setting at The Stollery Children's Hospital and University of Alberta Hospital
